I want something that can support Kindle books plus a decent PDF experience, and also a decent writing experience for daily journaling (and maybe notes for work, but less important).I have tried a few different devices in the last few years Ipad (with paperlke), Boox Note 2, RM2 (returned it due to line quality), and finally just recieved the A6X. My daily note taker is now the A6X. I already had the Lamy from before and ordered the Metal with A6X. I have to say that on the A6X, the metal pen with ceramic tip works perfectly.Better cross-platform integration/support across MacOS, Windows, Android, iOS. (Supernote has a companion app, but it's slow and needs some work) Better Kindle reading app experience (much better than the Kindle Android App or E-Ink experience) 300 dpi screen on 10" version compared to 226 dpi on A5X. The Supernote A5 X feels like a cheaper device. Supernote claims their screen "never breaks", so it may be a better choice for clumsier folks. I heard the rM2 has a bit more of a pen-feel to it than rM1. I prefer pen to pencil. My recent favorite has been a gel rollerball. In terms of writing feel, the A6X is a bit unusual. It has a thin rubber layer. Writing with speed and light pressure feels more like ballpoint.

I really think the Supernote A5X is the sweet spot between the Remarkable 2 and Boox Note Air. I am condidering buying a device for digital notes and reading, however the extra 150 euro (~33%) in taxes is stopping me to order the Supernote. Please solve this problem for EU customers so that that Supernote remains competitive.

How do they compare?I recently bought the Supernote A6X and thought I'd share my experience in case someone is thinking of purchasing it. Let me add some context to my decision to purchase this device. I use pen and paper extensively. I have multiple fountain pens and high quality notebook (piece of advice, don't get sucked into that world).Edit: also, if the price is a big factor for you, an A4 device will probably be significantly more expensive than the A5X device. The larger screen is the main driving factor for this. You can see right now the A6X is USD115 less than the A5X. Meeting notes, study and reading ebooks. Currently use a A4 spiral notebook mainly for study and ...1. The E INK Mobius touchscreen display has a resolution of 1404×1872 with ...I have remarkable, A5X, and A6X. A5X feels sort of lighter than remarkable 2 but I think this may really be due to density/material difference. I don't know that the weight is really that different. I love writing on A6X but I mostly journal and have used small notebooks for note taking in class before. The Remarkable 2 is even thinner at just 4.7mm thin and more lightweight at 403.5g. It also has a slightly larger 10.3-inch screen and the same chunkier bezel on the left side of the display.

It's pretty subjective. I have the A6X and I prefer the writing experience over the RM2. I like the more grippy screen and the soft feel with the ceramic nib. The ReMarkable has a more "scratchy" feel vs smooth when you write on it. While the Supernote is smooth, it's still totally different than using an Apple Pencil on iPad glass.

Probably also because the tip on the s pen feels pointier. I used to use 8.5"x5.5" loose paper for notes. The thickness of the A6X makes it feel like I have less space to work with but also the writing area is 6 and 1/8 inch by 4 and 5/8 inch. On A5X it is 8 and 1/4 inch by 6 and 1/8 inch. Exterior dimensions: A6X 7.5" x 5.5", A5X 9.75" by 7".

I'm 2 days in on a Boox Note Air 2 (having used an A6X for a couple months). Setting the details of the A5 vs A6 sizes aside, your comparison is exactly dead on.
